Responsibilities

What You Will Do

  • Build and launch full websites (themes, plugins, custom features, responsive design)
  • Add practical features: media galleries, search, blog, booking system, online payments (Stripe), contact forms
  • Set up hosting, domains, security (SSL), backups, and basic performance/SEO
  • Work directly with clients and the project manager  attend reviews and apply feedback
  • Document everything so clients can manage their sites after handover
  • We use WordPress as one of the platforms because it lets us deliver professional results quickly, but the role is about full-stack web thinking: solving problems, connecting frontend and backend, and making things work end-to-end.

What We Are Looking For

  • We are looking for a generalist  someone who loves building things on the web and figures things out.
  • The #1 quality we care about: when you hit a wall, your first instinct is to search, test, and solve  not to say I dont know.

Required:

  • Hands-on web development experience (any stack  you have actually built and deployed websites or web apps)
  • You understand how the web works end-to-end: domains, hosting, SSL, file permissions, frontend + backend
  • You can read error messages, use browser tools, check logs, and fix problems by yourself
  • Strong English (written + spoken)  you will talk with clients and write simple documentation
  • Resourceful and self-directed  you take ownership instead of waiting to be unblocked

Should have:

  • HTML/CSS, React, or any modern frontend framework
  • Experience with payments, databases, or APIs
  • Basic understanding of performance optimisation
  • WordPress experience
