Role
Responsibilities
Community & Operations
- Point of Contact: Be present and approachable, serving as the go-to person for EdTech Romania members, including startups, educators, and partners.
- Member Integration: Greet new members, provide orientations about the associations mission, and help them integrate into the community.
- Ecosystem Monitoring: Monitor community engagement and report on what initiatives are providing value and what can be improved.
- Collaborative Environment: Help create a warm, collaborative vibe that fosters digitalization and innovation in Romanian education.
Events & Calendar Management
- Scheduling: Keep the internal and public EdTech Romania calendars up to date.
- Coordination: Coordinate with event hosts, mentors, and strategic partners to ensure seamless scheduling and collaboration.
- On-site Support: Be on-site during key events to support with logistics, setup, and ensuring a positive experience for all participants.
- Innovation: Help brainstorm new event ideas, such as workshops or pitch sessions, that bring direct value to EdTech founders.
Marketing & Content Creation
- Brand Voice: Be the voice and face of EdTech Romania on social media, promoting the impact of technology in schools.
- Behind-the-Scenes: Capture and create engaging behind-the-scenes content from events and association milestones.
- Social Media Management: Plan and post engaging Instagram stories, TikToks, Reels, and community highlights that resonate with the EdTech community.
- Storytelling: Interview founders, share success stories of digital transformation, and create buzz-worthy content.
You are Perfect for This If You:
- Love people and thrive in dynamic, creative spaces focused on social impact and education.
- Are organized, proactive, and dont wait to be told what needs to be done.
- Have experience running a community, office, or association (or just naturally take care of things!).
- Have a good eye for content and know what works on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
- Can write clearly and with personality in both emails and social media captions.
- Are comfortable managing both small logistical details and big-picture energy.
Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience in a startup or NGO environment, specifically within the education sector.
- Have used digital tools such as Notion, Canva, Trello, or community management platforms.
- Can shoot and edit short videos (even on your phone!) to highlight community wins.
- Have hosted or helped organize educational events or webinars.
