About Babeș-Bolyai University

The Faculty of Business is the first Romanian higher education institution to offer specialized degree programs in the field of business. Established in 1994, it was founded with the strategic support of Nottingham Trent University, Athens University of Economics and Business, and the Technical University of Lisbon. Role

Responsibilities

Policy Analysis & Evaluation: Examining major EU policy frameworks, specifically the European Green Deal, the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the Farm to Fork Strategy, and the EU Biodiversity Strategy.

Scientific Investigation: Researching the root causes, indirect drivers, and underlying factors contributing to biodiversity decline in European agricultural landscapes.

Regulatory Research: Analyzing environmental frameworks at both the EU level and the individual Member State level.

International Collaboration: Contributing to an ongoing Horizon-funded international project and working alongside global research partners.

Interdisciplinary Synthesis: Integrating policy analysis with environmental science to develop impactful solutions for sustainability.

Strategic Reporting: Assisting in the development of research outputs that bridge the gap between academic findings and practical EU policymaking.

Who can apply: candidates who follow master/ PhD studies in socio-economic, environmental, or agricultural fields
