Role

Responsibilities

The main function of the Data Analytics team is to deliver Dashboards and reports related to spend, risk management, savings and sourcing for the DHL Group. Spend Management is responsible for organizing the input of spending data from different Finance systems around the world, and works in the cleansing of this data through classification and grouping processes. Finally, Master Data Governance means having a standard process for the maintenance of key procurement information, especially supplier master data. GoAnalyse is the central Procurement reporting based on Microsoft Power BI, which is a state-of-the-art Business Intelligence tool where procurement managers can work with any reports or dashboards needed to analyze data.

Theintern will provide support and gain knowledge in these 3 main areas described here. Also, there will be opportunities to work with new projects focused on the automation and digitalization of various procurement reporting processes, touching data analytics topics such as machine learning and big data.

  • Help with different tasks for the GoAnalyse activities, from data checks and modeling to the communication and implementation process of new dashboards and reports.
  • Support of GoAnalyse moving the application to the cloud
  • Provide support in the definition and creation of global procurement reports, based on business requirements.
  • Actively work on the main tasks of the Spend Management Team, providing the correct classification and supplier group for the new spend data coming from different countries and business units.
