Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
Planning of interactive sessions and workshops
Week 2
Introduce beneficiaries to basic vocabulary and phrases in a new language through engaging and interactive games. (eg. Games like Scrabble, Pictionary, or Charades)
Teaching reading and storytelling to children
Organize a quiz show-style activity where teams of beneficiaries answer questions related to math, vocabulary, or general knowledge.
Prepare presentations to be used in teaching lessons
Week 3
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school
Teaching creative writing in English
Week 4
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
Closing day with beneficiaries
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
