Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Preparing activities to be done in the following weeks
Create implementation plan
Onboarding with partner represeantatives
Introductory sessions with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives
Run initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome of the project.
Week 2
Teaching English and Mathematics
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Week 3
Teaching English and Mathematics
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Week 4
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
Closing day with beneficiaries
