Project
The project aims to aims to impact the SDG #4 by developing high-level cognitive and transferable skills to people at all ages through activities and/or workshops connected to arts production (e.g painting, sculpture, music, theatre, photography...)

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Week 2
Bring interactive classes to understand throughout the week the beneficiaries' backgrounds with arts and their professional and personal dreams for the future
Run artistic first step activities with beneficiaries in order for them to have first contact with the different artistic materials and media (e.g. drawings vs painting, sculpturing, fotographies etc.)
Organize a brainstorming session where team members share ideas, themes, and inspirations for the project.
Week 3
Dynamic: Reflection on the artistic growth of the beneficiaries during the project
Feedback: Provide participants with constructive feedback on their art pieces in a supportive and collaborative environment, helping them refine their work and gain new insights.
Take the beneficiaries outside the classroom to explore the local community, including landmarks, parks, and cultural traditions.
Bring data towards Arts & Employability in the world and request a case study or groups presentation about the connection of arts with their future (diversified by topics, research areas, cultures etc)
Week 4
Specific JD will be sent through email after the acceptance! About the working hours it's again not relevant. It's gonna be either the first shift 9:00-14:00, of the second one 17:00-20:00 after communicating it with the partner
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
Closing day with beneficiaries
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
