Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Week 1: Research & Cultural Integration Introduction to the local community, project goals, and site visits Understanding Tunisian architecture, materials, and climate considerations Conducting field research (measurements, sketches, interviews) Brainstorming ideas and identifying community needs Participating in intercultural activities and team-building sessions.
Week 2
Week 2: Concept Development Developing architectural concepts and initial design proposals Creating sketches, mood boards, and basic plans Using tools like AutoCAD / SketchUp (if applicable) Receiving feedback from local mentors and stakeholders Presenting preliminary ideas to the team
Week 3
Week 3: Design & Execution Finalizing design proposals based on feedback Working on detailed plans, 2D/3D models, or visualizations Supporting small-scale on-site improvements (painting, space organization, etc.) Collaborating with local workers or NGOs for implementation Documenting progress (photos, reports, design updates)
Week 4
Week 4: Finalization & Impact Delivery Completing final designs and/or physical interventions Preparing final presentations and project documentation Showcasing results to the community or partner organization Evaluating impact and reflecting on learning outcomes Cultural exchange activities and closing event
