Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
First workday introduction to school environment
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Assist teachers with basic classroom engagement
Learn school curriculum, safety guidelines, and lesson planning
Observe English and ICT classes to understand student levels
Week 2
Conduct English lessons (vocabulary & simple sentences)
Organize educational games and phonics activities
Setting up a buddy system for the beneficiaries to track their development
Setting up a creative systems to increase the math knowledge of the beneficiaries "Creative Math" (puzzles, games, group activities)
Dynamic: Setting up the "Book Club", present the books to be cover during the project and explain the dynamic to the beneficiaries.
Dynamic: Introduce beneficiaries to basic vocabulary and phrases in a new language through engaging and interactive games. (eg. Games like Scrabble, Pictionary, or Charades)
Organize a quiz show-style activity where teams of beneficiaries answer questions related to math, vocabulary, or general knowledge.
Conduct ice-breaking activities with students
Deliver introduction lessons (basic English: greetings, self-introduction, countries)
Teach basic ICT (computer parts and basic operations)
Week 3
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Conduct interactive English reading and speaking activities
Conduct review sessions with fun learning games
Organize group activities and role-play exercises
Facilitate cultural exchange sessions (traditions, food, global exposure)
Lead ICT practical sessions (typing, MS Word basics)
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week

Week 4
Weekly "Creative Math" Meeting
Conduct reflection sessions with students and teachers
Lead project-based activities (poster / mini presentation)
Organize communication and teamwork games
Conduct ICT lessons (internet basics & digital safety)
Teach English grammar basics (tenses, simple structures)
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Weekly "Book Club" Meeting
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Week 5
ICT revision (basic software usage)
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Weekly "Book Club" Meeting
Weekly "Creative Math" Meeting
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Conduct English revision (speaking & writing)
Guide students in mini project preparation (English/ICT)
Lead final classroom engagement activities
Prepare students for project closure and review
Week 6
Closing day with beneficiaries
Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
Conduct project recap and interactive classroom support
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Facilitate final English & ICT activities
Handle documentation and feedback collection
Participate in project evaluation with school management
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
