Project
The project aims to impact SDG #14 by providing communities that live near marine and coastal areas, with concrete activities to improve the sustainability of the coast and protect marine wildlife that inhabit these ecosystems.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Training on SDG 14 and its practical applications
Understanding previous outreach campaigns and best practices
Understanding previous outreach campaigns and best practices
Research on local environmental issues and community dynamics
Introduction to marine and coastal ecosystem challenges (pollution, biodiversity loss, etc.)
Week 2
Planning outreach campaigns targeting local communities
Setting clear goals and expected impact for activities
Preparing materials for field activities
Coordination with team members and assigning responsibilities
Designing educational content (presentations, workshops, social media materials)
Week 3
Organizing or participating in environmental actions (e.g., beach clean-ups)
Conducting educational workshops and awareness sessions
Engaging with local communities through outreach activities
Promoting sustainable practices and marine protection awareness
Week 4
Analyzing the impact of activities and community engagement
Preparing reports and documenting outcomes
Reflecting on challenges and areas of improvement
Supporting sustainability of the project
