Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Introduction to climate change (what it is, why it matters)
Group discussion on local environmental issues
Participants identify key problems in their own communities
Kick-off meeting and project presentation
Week 2
Workshop on sustainable living (recycling, energy saving, etc.)
Review of successful environmental projects
Group brainstorming sessions
Week 3
Identification of needed resources
Mentoring and feedback sessions
Training on how to create an action plan
Week 4
Implemented mini-projects + increased community awareness
Small-scale implementation (e.g., clean-up event, awareness campaign)
Social media or local outreach activities
Evaluation and feedback session
