The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Set up a buddy system for beneficiaries and learners
Preparation Onboarding space with school representatives to understand the current educational scenario and student needs (math, reading, foreign languages, etc.)
Training on how to manage and engage with project beneficiaries
Design and create educational materials (grammar books, basic numeracy booklets, etc.)
Determine outcome measurement system and data collection materials
Week 2
Conduct an initial assessmentto measure baseline knowledge (can include official school data)
Dynamic: Set up the "Book Club," present selected books, and explain the process
Workshop: The importance of SDG 4 and access to quality education
Introduction Introductory session aboutthe project and presentation ofthe volunteer to students
Create a Personal Development Plan (PDP) for each participant and track progress weekly through coaching
Week 3
Conduct weekly assessments to measure learning progress
Run personalized coaching meetings
Weekly Book Club meeting
Run interactive dynamics to reinforce weekly lessons (math games, speaking clubs, lab practices)
Run lessons based on student and school needs (math, reading skills, foreign language, etc.)
Teaching fundamentals – Phase 1
Week 4
Run coaching sessions and weekly learning assessments
Continue lessons based on identified learning needs
Introduce more advanced literacy and numeracy exercises adapted to participantlevels
Run reinforcement dynamics and group activities
Weekly Book Club meeting
Teaching fundamentals – Phase 2
