The project aims to impact SDG #10 by fostering educational spaces on the basics of inequality as well as promoting local initiative to tackle discrimination and inequality in the community

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Presentation of SDG 10 and its related targets.
Conducting an initial assessment with the beneficiaries to measure their level of understanding of inequalities in the country;
Introducing the volunteers and the project to the project beneficiaries;
Creation of the materials to be used during the project weeks.
Alignment space between the volunteer and the organization to assess the activities to be carried out;
Analysis of SDG #10 in relation to the local and national context;
Week 2
Workshop: How to be agents of change.
Creation of an activity aimed at increasing people’s awareness of their role within society;
Roundtable discussion: A space to discuss how local community issues relate to those of other countries or regions;
Workshop: My role as a citizen in reducing inequalities;
Week 3
Reflection on: What can I do for the community, and what can the community do for me?
Working together on the creation of an event to raise community awareness;
Creation of an event to raise community awareness;
Presentation of the activities carried out during the project;
Week 4
Analysis of the collected data and preparation of the final report
Sharing of lessons learned
Creation of a survey to collect data from the project beneficiaries;
