Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4.7 by providing and opening spaces for inclusive and equitable quality education for children from disadvantaged villages. We focus on fostering intercultural understanding and breaking down language barriers by offering children access to educational and cultural activities, as volunteers visit multiple villages during the project duration

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
• Learn to accompany children with patience and presence, respecting their pace and avoiding harsh intervention
• Assist with light tasks: preparing materials, organizing learning space, and maintaining a clean, safe environment
• Join circle time through storytelling, singing, and simple interactive games to connect with children
• Support simple daily activities such as playing, guiding children, and assisting during transitions (meal time, nap time, etc.)
• Get familiar with Tổ Ấm environment and daily routines; observe how teachers gently care for and interact with children
Week 2
Organize interactive English classes tailored to learners through play-based methods.
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
Support arts & crafts activities (making simple handmade items, preparing materials, assisting children)
Join hands-on activities such as simple cooking/baking (kneading dough, preparing ingredients) with children
Provide a practical introduction to the project’s work system.
Week 3
Organize and present cultural exchange activities, such as cooking or making traditional foods.
Organize interactive English classes tailored to learners through play-based methods.
Teach foreign language classes for children, incorporating topics like cooking and safety.
Conduct interactive English or foreign language lessons through play-based learning.
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment (cleaning, organizing materials, basic tasks)
Week 4
Organize interactive English classes tailored to learners through play-based methods.
Organize and participate in the farewell party at the school.
Analyze data to assess outcomes and impact (e.g., students' and teachers' awareness post-project).
Summarize the project's impact, the development of students and the school, and discuss successes and areas for improvement for the final report.
