The project aims to aims to impact the SDG #4 by developing high-level cognitive and transferable skills to people at all ages through activities and/or workshops connected to arts production (e.g painting, sculpture, music, theatre, photography...)

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Taking a more active role in classroom activities Supporting teachers in managing group play and storytelling sessions
Assisting teachers during class activities Supporting children with puzzles, arts and crafts, and basic learning
Settling into the preschool environment and routines
Observing daily activities such as playtime, storytelling, and group sessions
Week 2
Assisting with classroom routines and transitions Providing one-on-one attention to children when needed
Shadowing teachers to understand classroom management techniques
Leading short creative sessions such as art, craft, dance, or music Designing simple, safe, and engaging activities for preschoolers
Introducing basic cultural elements through stories, songs, or visuals Encouraging creativity and participation in a playful manner
Week 3
Encouraging cultural expression and curiosity Documenting activities through photos, videos, or simple notes
Organising theme-based workshops for children
Combining creative activities such as music, art, dance, and storytelling
Preparing small learning resources for teachers
Week 4
Reflecting on the overall impact on children’s engagement and learning
Organising a small classroom showcase or cultural day Displaying children’s artwork, performances, or activities
Encouraging children to express themselves creatively
Sharing observations and learnings with teachers and management
