The project aims to aims to impact the SDG #4 by developing high-level cognitive and transferable skills to people at all ages through activities and/or workshops connected to arts production (e.g painting, sculpture, music, theatre, photography...)

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Introductory session with beneficiaries, presentation of volunteers and project objectives.
Creating an implementation plan on how the project should be carried out and determine the materials to be used
Preparation of activities to be carried out in the coming weeks and receipt of feedback from partners and AIESEC
Running the initial evaluation required to measure the project result/impact
Embarking space with representatives of partners to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and to discuss the outcome of the project
Week 2
To carry out first step artistic activities with the beneficiaries in order for them to have first contact with the various artistic and media materials (for example, drawings vs painting, sculpture, photographs, etc.)
Divide the final project into smaller activities and define the responsibilities for each part of the whole creation
Organize a brainstorming session where team members share ideas, themes, and inspiration for the project.
Build and present the calendar of activities considering the beneficiaries' from practical learning to "hands-on" for example, peer guidance, chain drawings, puzzles, etc
Bring interactive courses to understand throughout the week the environments of your beneficiaries with their professional and personal arts and dreams for the future
Week 3
Work on an initial project of the main design piece (for example, the first scenes of a play, the first strokes of a mural, etc.), and then organize a feedback session with the beneficiaries and mentors or representatives of the partners.
Dynamic: Set up a short and fun challenge, such as creating a work of art in a limited time or using only specific materials.
Create a Personal Development Plan for each participant to track their weekly improvement through a coaching system
To organize a workshop where participants can collaborate on a small piece of art or experiment with different media related to the project (for example, painting, sculpture, digital design).
Give yourself time for individual or group reflection on the personal artistic goals of the project. Participants can discuss what they hope to achieve or learn during the process.
Week 4
Collecting data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Data analysis to determine the results/impact (the level of awareness of the beneficiaries of post-project activities).
Elaboration of the final project report and its presentation to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
Final day with beneficiaries and Discuss the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss what went well and even better if and include this in the report.
