Role

Project Activities

Week 1
The volunteer becomes integrated into the summer camp context, actively takes part in the daily activities, and gets to know the group of children, the educational team, and the overall organisation of the camp. From the first week, the volunteer contributes directly to the life of the camp by observing group dynamics, collaborating in the management of activities, and taking part in the definition of the educational and workshop-based activities to be developed throughout the project.
Week 2
The volunteer actively contributes to the educational, recreational, and workshop-based activities of the summer camp and supports the implementation of workshops with a creative and environmental focus, in line with the rural setting and with the different age groups of the children involved. Activities may include games, interactive experiences, hands-on workshops, and non-formal learning activities aimed at stimulating creativity, curiosity, participation, and connection with nature.
Week 3
The volunteer develops and implements thematic, creative, and environmental activities through workshops, games, and interactive methodologies aimed at enriching the summer camp experience. In coordination with the educational team, the volunteer contributes to the organisation and delivery of activities that encourage self-expression, experiential learning, active participation of the children, and the enhancement of the rural context, also integrating intercultural elements where relevant. The volunteers that will arrive for the period of august- september will help with the kindergarden
Week 4
During the final week, the volunteer continues to actively contribute to the daily activities of the summer camp, maintaining their involvement in the educational and workshop-based programme. At the same time, the volunteer collects feedback related to the activities carried out, supports the reflection on the experience with the group of children, and contributes to the final presentation of the project, highlighting the results achieved and sharing with the educational team the elements useful for evaluation and future continuity of the practices developed
