Project Activities

Week 1
Plan and prepare localized curriculum materials and interactive learning tools along with local teachers and fellow volunteers.
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, introducing the international volunteers, setting behavioral goals, and outlining the project's learning objectives.
Run the initial assessment/baseline diagnostics to measure the current literacy and numeracy levels of the beneficiaries for accurate project impact tracking.
Incoming Preparation Seminar (IPS) and onboarding space with partner representatives and AIESEC to understand the local community's specific educational gaps.
Week 2
Organize interactive language and vocabulary development sessions utilizing educational dynamics (e.g., word-building games, spelling bees, or storytelling circles).
Run practical numeracy lessons focused on essential everyday math skills (e.g., basic operations, financial literacy basics, or problem-solving exercises) tailored to student needs.
Run reinforcement dynamics to strengthen weekly lessons through high-engagement activities like math bingo, peer-to-peer reading clubs, and logic games.
Run a weekly progress test to evaluate retention of core literacy and numeracy concepts taught throughout the week.
Week 3
Facilitate personality, confidence, and leadership development workspaces designed to empower students to practice their communication and public speaking skills.
Collaborate and assist school staff/local teachers with academic and non-academic affairs, ensuring peer-to-peer knowledge transfer for long-term project sustainability.
Run specialized lessons based on cumulative needs, targeting specific academic problem areas identified during Week 2 evaluations.
Run a weekly milestone test to measure development in reading comprehension and mental math agility.
Week 4
Debrief the overall impact of the project, evaluate how the beneficiaries developed, document successes or areas of improvement, and compile these findings into the final project report.
Plan and execute a Closing Day/Farewell event with beneficiaries, celebrating student milestones, distributing completion certificates, and handing off sustainable learning resources to the local community.
Collect final quantitative and qualitative data from beneficiaries using post-project surveys, reading/math post-assessments, and focus groups to measure net growth.
