Continuation of the 14-day quarantine period. PCR testing to confirm positive FeLV cases. Monitoring cats for signs of illness or behavioral changes. Follow-up on deworming and other initial treatments. Gradual introduction to other cats when medically appropriate. Continued updating of individual health records.

Workshop: SDG 15 and the negative impact of of natural habitat degradation and loss of biodiversity for the future.

Activity: Create an accountability system in the community for the conservation of nature around them

Run a local event on the NGO/school to launch the accountability system and strive to have a local representative leader signing the commitment.

Microchip implantation for eligible cats. Exception: pregnant or nursing mothers. Spaying/neutering of all eligible cats. Post-operative monitoring and recovery support. Updating medical and identification records.

Activity: Run a challenge/competition within participant to make lifestyle choices that are less harmful to endangered species

Activity: Species ambassadors to protect the endangered species of the area/region

Fieldwork: run activities in animal rescue centers

V4 or V5 vaccination according to veterinary recommendations. Rabies vaccination. Screened interior doors to improve ventilation while allowing safe interaction. Windows protected with custom steel bars. 24/7 security camera monitoring. Assessment of the cats' living environment and safety measures.

Dynamic: Do an open doors day at the partner in which the community can learn more about the animals, learn about adoption opportunities, and support shelters' missions.

Plan an engaging and informative Open Doors Day event that raises community awareness about animal adoption and endangered species

Create a short film/reel/article about a species or degradation in the region and showcase it on social media or with different PR partners (such as blogs)

Activity: Run a fundraising campaign for the protection of a specific endangered specie or natural habitat

Continued monitoring of cats after vaccination and medical procedures. Socialization activities to improve cats' comfort around humans and other animals. Environmental enrichment through appropriate toys, scratching areas, climbing spaces, and interactive activities. Observation and documentation of individual personalities and behaviors. Identification of cats that may require additional socialization or individualized care. Support in preparing cats for adoption and/or long-term shelter care.

Dynamic: Work together to design a wildlife-friendly garden for the community

Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report

Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.

Closing day with beneficiaries

Final health and behavior follow-up for cats participating in the program. Review of vaccination, microchip, sterilization, and testing records. Assessment of cats' readiness for adoption or integration into permanent shelter groups. Continued socialization and enrichment activities. Organization and updating of individual cat profiles. Support in preparing adoption information and recommendations for future adopters. Handover of observations, records, and recommendations to the shelter team. Evaluation of the implemented health, safety, and welfare procedures.

Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)

Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
