Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4.7 by providing and opening spaces for inclusive and equitable quality education for children from disadvantaged villages. We focus on fostering intercultural understanding and breaking down language barriers by offering children access to educational and cultural activities, as volunteers visit multiple villages during the project duration

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Developing a structured implementation plan including timeline, roles, and designing and preparing engaging English learning activities (games, discussions, group work).
Preparing upcoming learning activities and refining them based on feedback from the partner and AIESEC (such as Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons)
Conducting a baseline assessment to identify participants’ needs and define project impact indicators, while visit the course
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Week 2
Practicing vocabulary and simple expressions through age-appropriate games such as Pictionary, Charades, and matching games.
Learning English through simple storytelling, songs, and movement activities to encourage children’s participation.
Introducing basic English vocabulary and simple phrases through songs, repetition, and fun learning games.
Reviewing the English vocabulary and expressions learned throughout the week through fun games, songs, and interactive activities.
Combining basic English learning with creative arts and crafts activities to develop children’s creativity and vocabulary.
Week 3
Reviewing the English vocabulary and expressions learned throughout the week through fun games, songs, and interactive activities.
Introducing basic English vocabulary and simple phrases through songs, repetition, and fun learning games.
Practicing vocabulary and simple expressions through age-appropriate games such as Pictionary, Charades, and matching games.
Learning English through simple storytelling, songs, and movement activities to encourage children’s participation.
Combining basic English learning with creative arts and crafts activities to develop children’s creativity and vocabulary.
Week 4
Compiling and presenting the final report aligned with academic outcomes while professionally representing Oxbridge English Indonesia and AIESEC.
Conducting a closing session to recognize student achievements and engagement.
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
Collecting and analyzing student feedback and learning data to evaluate outcomes and teaching effectiveness.
