Project
The project aims to aims to impact the SDG #4 by developing high-level cognitive and transferable skills to people at all ages through activities and/or workshops connected to arts production (e.g painting, sculpture, music, theatre, photography...)

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Creating a welcoming and safe environment
Receive guidance on how to communicate, engage, and interact with young children in a safe and supportive environment.
Participate in an onboarding session with the partner organization to understand the needs and developmental characteristics of children aged 3–6.
Get to know the staff, teachers, and beneficiaries and understand the daily routines of the institution.
Week 2
Use drawing, painting, music, and storytelling to encourage creativity
Encourage children to express their ideas and emotions through creative activities.
Prepare and facilitate arts and crafts activities suitable for children aged 3–6.
Encourage children to work together and share materials during group activities.
Support children's fine motor skills through age-appropriate arts and crafts.
Week 3
Adapt activities according to children's age, attention span, and developmental level.
Prepare educational activities about animals, nature, weather, food, and the environment.
Introduce basic English vocabulary through games, visual materials, songs, and storytelling.
Encourage children to observe, ask questions, make simple predictions, and explore their surroundings.
Encourage children to recognize similarities and differences between themselves and people from different cultures.
Week 4
Review the English vocabulary introduced throughout the project through games and songs.
Give children opportunities to demonstrate their creativity and confidence.
Support the organization of a final celebration to recognize the children's participation and achievements.
Prepare a small final activity together with the children, such as a storytelling session, song, dance, art exhibition, or group performance.
Organize cooperative games and group activities that encourage teamwork and communication.
