The project aims to aims to impact the SDG #4 by developing high-level cognitive and transferable skills to people at all ages through activities and/or workshops connected to arts production (e.g painting, sculpture, music, theatre, photography...)

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Explore different cultures through cultural exchange activities, games and storytelling.
Prepare the materials and activity plan for the following weeks together with the partner organization.
Organize simple creative activities using recycled materials to encourage imagination and teamwork.
Introduce the concepts of recycling, reuse, sustainability and responsible consumption in an interactive and age-appropriate way.
Introduce volunteers, beneficiaries and the project objectives through fun icebreakers and creative introduction activities.
Week 2
Organize hands-on workshops where participants create their first individual and group artworks from recycled materials.
Encourage creativity, problem-solving and teamwork through fun creative challenges.
Organize activities such as creating recycled decorations, collages, sculptures or useful objects from waste materials.
Introduce beneficiaries to different artistic techniques and creative ways of reusing everyday materials such as cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, cans and packaging.
Week 3
Connect creativity with environmental awareness through discussions, games and interactive activities.
Organize fun creative challenges where children create different objects from recycled materials.
Make group crafts and decorations together with the volunteers.
Create colourful collages, masks, puppets, animals or small sculptures from recycled materials.
Encourage teamwork, sharing and helping each other while creating.
Week 4
Organize a final creative workshop where participants can finish, decorate and present their creations.
Create a small exhibition or “Recycled Art” showcase where beneficiaries can display their work.
Evaluate the development of creativity, teamwork and environmental awareness throughout the project.
Present the project outcomes to the partner organization, AIESEC members and the community.
Finalize the artworks and creative products developed throughout the project.
