Project Youth 4 Impact
The project aims to impact SDG #4 by generating awareness and fostering engagement towards the sustainable development goals and global citizen values.

By 2030, ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including, among others, through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
[Preparation] Conduct a pre-project meeting to align roles and plans
[Intro] Explore the concepts of sustainability and the SDG 16&17
[Incoming Preparation Seminar] Introduce Korea, the project, and detailed JDs to set clear expectations
Week 2
[Preparation] Work with other EPs to prepare and facilitate sessions and activities
[Session] Share cases and experiences from home countries related to SDG 16 & 17
[Session] Introduce your own culture and social issues to students, providing diverse global perspectives
[Feedback meeting] Review the session and discuss areas for improvement
[Seoul Tour] Visit and enjoy Seoul’s landmarks together
Week 3
[Session] Actively communicate and engage with students to encourage mutual understanding of different perspectives
[Session] Explore social issues with students and collaborate to develop possible solutions
[Session] Share cases and experiences from home countries related to SDG 16 & 17
[Preparation] Work with other EPs to prepare and facilitate sessions and activities
Week 4
[Mid-project meeting] Check the progress and share feedback
[Global Village] Interact with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and experience cultural exchange
[Seoul Tour] Visit and enjoy Seoul’s landmarks together
Week 5
[Seoul Tour] Visit and enjoy Seoul’s landmarks together
[Preparation] Work with other EPs to prepare and facilitate sessions and activities
[Session] Share cases and experiences from home countries related to SDG 16 & 17
[Session] Introduce your own culture and social issues to students, providing diverse global perspectives
Week 6
[Outgoing Preparation Seminar] Review the past activities and share experiences and reflections from the project
[Farewell Party] Celebrate the completion of the project together
