Project
Discover: Little Skills, Big Futures Discover is a four-week Global Volunteer project in Sfax, Tunisia, designed to help children aged 6–12 develop essential soft skills through interactive, creative, and experience-based learning. The project creates a supportive environment where children can explore their strengths, express their ideas, work with others, solve problems, and build confidence. Through educational games, storytelling, role-play, teamwork challenges, creative projects, and guided reflection, children learn practical skills that support their personal development and everyday interactions. International volunteers will collaborate with the local organization to design and facilitate age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, responsibility, empathy, creativity, and positive communication. Rather than relying on traditional classroom teaching, the project emphasizes learning by doing, allowing children to practice new skills in real-life and simulated situations. Throughout the four weeks, children will explore self-awareness, communication, collaboration, emotional awareness, critical thinking, problem-solving, and responsible decision-making. By the end of the project, children are expected to demonstrate greater confidence in expressing themselves, improved participation in group activities, and a stronger understanding of how to collaborate respectfully and approach challenges constructively. Discover your strengths. Build your skills. Shape your future.
