Project
Art Without Borders: Create, Imagine, Inspire Art Without Borders is a four-week Global Volunteer project in Sfax, Tunisia, designed to encourage children aged 6–12 to explore their creativity, express themselves, and discover different forms of art through interactive and culturally enriching activities. The project creates a welcoming environment where children can experiment with colors, shapes, textures, materials, and artistic techniques while developing imagination, confidence, and creative thinking. Through drawing, painting, crafts, collaborative murals, recycled-art projects, and cultural art workshops, children will have opportunities to express their ideas and learn from one another. International volunteers will collaborate with the local organization to prepare and facilitate age-appropriate activities that encourage experimentation, cooperation, and appreciation of different artistic traditions. Volunteers will also introduce art and crafts from their home countries, helping children discover new perspectives while celebrating Tunisian culture and heritage. The project emphasizes participation and creative exploration rather than artistic perfection. Children do not need previous artistic experience, and activities will be adapted to their abilities and to the materials available. By the end of the project, children are expected to demonstrate greater confidence in expressing ideas through art, increased participation in creative activities, and a stronger appreciation of artistic and cultural diversity. Imagine freely. Create together. Inspire the world.
